My work centres on the relationship between repetitive processes and time with particular reference to textile construction. Patterns of repetition and cyclical rhythms shape my practice, exploring relationships between time and place, light and shadow, containment and constraint.
I create dimensional drawings in thread using spatial knotting, experimenting with form, materials and methods to explore vertical and horizontal layering and the transition from one plane to another.

I have developed the use of cyanotype printing on fabric with 3 dimensional screens constructed from a variety of materials both natural and synthetic to maximize the potential layering of light and fabric
